How does this work?
You tell us your child's name, age, and a few things they love — their favorite color, animal, whatever they're into right now. Every night, we write a brand-new bedtime story starring them, built around those details, and email it straight to you before bedtime.
Is the content safe for kids?
Yes. Every story is written specifically for bedtime — gentle, calm, age-appropriate, with no scary content, no violence, and nothing meant to overstimulate right before sleep.
Can I update my child's favorites later?
Anytime. Kids' interests change fast — every email includes a link to update their favorite color, animal, or anything else in seconds. Tomorrow's story will reflect it.
What if I don't like a story?
Every email has a "get a new one" link. You can regenerate a fresh story up to 3 times a day, no questions asked.
What if I have more than one kid?
Our family plan covers up to 4 children for one flat $19/month — each child gets their own story, written just for them, every night.
What if the email doesn't show up?
First, check your spam or promotions folder — we're a new sender, so some inboxes are extra cautious at first. Replying to one of our emails helps a lot. Still nothing? Just email us at storytrailinfo@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.
How does the free trial work, and what happens after?
Your first 3 stories are completely free — no charge up front. After that, your card is billed automatically at $9/month (1 child) or $19/month (2-4 children), unless you cancel before then.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, anytime, no phone calls or emails required. Every email includes a link to manage your account, where you can cancel in a couple clicks.

Why I built this


I'm Kevin — dad to two girls who want a brand-new bedtime story every single night. For a long time, I was the one making them up on the spot after a full day of work. Most nights I was just recycling the same dragon with a different name, hoping nobody noticed.

So I built StoryTrail. Every night it writes a fresh story personalized to your kid — their name, their favorite animal, whatever they're obsessed with that week — and it lands in your inbox before bedtime, ready to read.

Every story is one I'd be happy reading to my own girls. Gentle, calm, and made just for them.
