StoryTrail ("we," "us," or "our") provides personalized bedtime stories delivered by email. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number). We also collect information about your child, such as their first name, age, and stated interests, which is used solely to personalize their stories.
We do not sell your information or your child's information to anyone. We share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate StoryTrail, including:
These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
StoryTrail is designed for parents and guardians to use on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and all child profile information is provided and managed by the parent or guardian's account.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for a reasonable period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it may be deleted upon request.
You can update your child's profile information at any time using the link included in every email. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account management page. To request deletion of your data, email us at storytrailinfo@gmail.com.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure third-party processors for payment and data storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information to the best of our ability.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on our site.
