Why I built this

Hi, I'm Kevin — dad to two girls who, like most kids, want a brand-new bedtime story every single night. Forever. No repeats. No "we already did that one."

For a long time, I was the one making them up — standing at the foot of the bed, trying to invent a fresh adventure on the spot, every night, after a full day of work. Some nights I had it. Most nights, by night four or five, I was just recycling the same dragon with a different name, hoping nobody noticed.

So I built StoryTrail — partly for my own sanity, and partly because I figured I couldn't be the only parent running out of ideas at 7:45pm. Every night, it writes a brand-new story, personalized to your kid — their name, their favorite animal, whatever they're obsessed with that week — and it lands in your inbox before bedtime, ready to read.

It's still small, still growing, and still genuinely just me and a handful of founding families figuring it out together. But every story is one I'd actually be happy reading to my own girls — gentle, calm, and made just for them.
